Ferrari recently won a pivotal trademark battle in the EU. The General Court overturned a decision by the EU Intellectual Property Office, reinstating Ferrari's rights to the “Testarossa” name. The court recognized that the company had maintained "genuine use" of the trademark through authorized resales and licensing of scale models .

849 Testarossa: A Modern Tribute
In a bold move honoring its 1980s flagship, Ferrari introduced the 849 Testarossa, a plug-in hybrid hypercar unveiled in Milan. This model succeeds the SF90 Stradale at the top of Ferrari’s lineup, delivering 1,050 horsepower—powered by a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 and three electric motors.
